Moran State Park

DCG is providing all engineering services for campground improvements in the predesign process. Moran State Park is one of the most significant and intact examples of Civil Conservation Corps Depression-Era park improvements and it needs major preservation work as it copes with increasing attendance and demands for more facilities. This includes site improvements (parking, picnic, interpretation, ADA, etc.) at Cascade Lake/Falls, Mountain Lake, and Mount Constitution Summit area; historic preservation for multiple historic structures; multiple campground redevelopments; Moran Campground improvements including a dock and restroom replacement; possible maintenance compound relocation; Environmental Learning Center lodge renovation; and a comprehensive response to parking demand.
