Holmes Harbor Water System Improvements
Client: Holmes Harbor Water Company
DCG assisted Holmes Harbor Estates Water Company in the replacement of the aging infrastructure in their water system, including new booster pumps, controls, and approximately 10,500-ft of water mains. DCG assisted the water company in coordination with Island County, the State Department of Health, the USDA, and the Army Corp of Engineers in order to properly permit the proposed improvements to the system. Services were also provided to obtain the necessary loan through the USDA. The project budget finished with enough remaining funds to design and install a new arsenic treatment system for the community. Services included the creation of construction plans, specifications, contract documents, construction administration, and approval from local and state jurisdictions.
