Wastewater & Sewer
Our experience in wastewater collection systems is based on a variety of municipal and private planning, design, and construction projects. These projects range from single family pressure distribution septic systems to large municipal collection and transmission lines. Planning project work includes system modeling for capacity analysis as well as inflow and infiltration analysis to identify cost beneficial improvements to systems.
We maintain knowledge of the industry’s newest technologies including directional drilling, slip-lining, robotic spot repair, pipe bursting, and other alternative and innovative construction methods to provide our clients with flexibility of methods and construction costs to meet project constraints. We also provide construction administration and post project work.
Pump Station Evaluations
Led a team of experts by using a reliability centered maintenance (RCM) approach to evaluate 55 wastewater pump stations.Delridge Combined Sewer Overflow Retrofit
The team provided options analysis, design, construction, and post-construction support services on the project for the storage facilities as part of the larger SPU CSO Retrofit Program.Combined Sewer Overflow Retrofits
Designed retrofit projects for eight different sites around the Seattle area in an effort to limit the number of combined sewer overflows to less than one year. Work involved SWMM Modeling, storm drainage and combined sewer design, design of storage and water quality facilities, pumping alternatives, cost estimating, street improvements and documenting the recommendations for project implementation.
