Permitting & Regulatory Compliance

With science and technical experience, DCG can achieve your goals within regulatory parameters. DCG has conducted all aspects of small and large-scale field assessments and permits for civil and structural engineering projects throughout the Pacific Northwest.

NEPA Compliance and Funding Support

DCG staff have authored and provided funding support with various NEPA Environmental Assessments for water system upgrades across Western Washington.

Various National Parks Service Projects

All-encompassing permitting services provided for various National Park Service (NPS) water systems upgrades and moorage facility replacements across Washington State and California. With science and technical experience DCG achieves NPS’s goals within regulatory parameters.

Wishing Whale Statue

This project involved the permitting, structural foundation design, and installation of a 750-lbs, 12-ft bronze statue of a whale in Langley’s Hladky/Whale Bell Park. The statue contains a slot for depositing coins beneath the whale and this feature led to the naming of the statue, the ‘Wishing Whale.’ A portion of DCG's services were donated to the Langley Arts Fund for the statue.

Community Paddlers Dock

The DCG team has led all design and ongoing permitting/mitigation efforts for the installation of a new gangway and float system for the City of Gig Harbor. The project includes the installation of ADA accessible small watercraft launch floats. Our team has also provided several rounds of permit modifications due to design updates.
